Studying in Cyprus: how to prepare your documents
UpdatesPublished Updated by Tausif Khan· 1 min read
Cyprus Immigration has changed its document attestation rules. Documents prepared in the wrong order can delay or block your visa, so follow these steps. The apostille is always the last step.
Attestation, document by document
- Passport colour copy (valid at least 2 years): passport officer and notary with a "True Copy" stamp, then apostille.
- Educational documents (colour copies): your educational board, then IBCC, then notary "True Copy", then apostille.
- Medical certificate: notary, then apostille.
- Bank statement and bank letter: notary, then apostille.
- Police clearance: an original with a coloured stamp, signature or embossed stamp needs notary and apostille only. A copy or black-and-white version needs notary, "True Copy" and apostille.
