La Trobe University Early Acceptance Grant, International Students

The Early Acceptance Grant (EAG) is a one-off grant of $2,000 for international students applying for an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework course at La Trobe University. It is applied as an upfront discount on the recipient's first semester tuition fees. In Sydney, the scholarship is applied from the second semester.

Available at: Albury-Wodonga Campus, Bendigo Campus, Melbourne Campus, City Campus, Mildura Campus, Shepparton Campus and Sydney Campus.

Combining: the grant can be combined with the La Trobe High Achiever Scholarship, the La Trobe Artificial Intelligence Scholarship (30%), the La Trobe Analytics and Insights Scholarship (30%) and the La Trobe Health Innovation Scholarship, to form a discount on first-year tuition fees, provided all conditions are met for both offers. It cannot be combined with any other scholarships.

EAG deadlines by intake:

• Be a citizen of a country other than Australia or New Zealand and be applying to study in 2026/2027.
• Be a newly offered international student from 1st April 2026.
• Not be a humanitarian or other permanent visa holder.
• Be a full fee-paying student (non-sponsored).
• Be applying for direct entry into one of the eligible courses. Other students are not eligible.
• Commence studies at any of the La Trobe University Victorian campuses or Sydney Campus in 2026/2027.
• Meet all entry requirements and commence studies at any of the LTU campuses in Australia.
• Students who receive a Conditional Confirmation of Enrolment (COE) are considered eligible for the grant.
• The grant is not available to La Trobe College Australia (LTCA) packaged students (ELICOS, Foundation and Diploma).
• All students who accept up until the deadline, including those who have already accepted, are eligible for this grant.

• Students are considered automatically when applying for an approved course.
• Students may apply directly through StudyLink.
• Accept the offer by the deadline for the chosen intake (see the table in the details).
